Provision of Occupational Health Medicals Services to SARAO in the Northern Cape Site, as and when required for a period of three years

SARAO invites proposals from service providers that can render occupational medical services to SARAO, specifically, for staff who work on site in the Northern Cape. These services are required for a period of three years, as and when required.

There are approximately 150 employees working at the SARAO site
Deliverables/ Requirements
The scope of work for this category may include the following as listed below:

• Management of Occupational and Primary Health Services, Injuries and Disease management;
• Providing and Monitoring quality patient care and issuing of medical screening certificate of fitness for pre-employment. Initials, periodicals, exits and transfers;
• Assist and responsible for health risks assessments and workplace inspections;
• Organizing preventative medical programmes, promoting health education, and referrals. Submitting of monthly reports and stats;
• Combat absenteeism, incapacity and case management

3 Years medical services will be as follows:

• 150x Initial medical
• 60x Pre-Employment
• 150x Periodicals
• 60x Exit Medicals

NB: The SARAO SCM office is open for delivery daily from 8am-3pm
