Location: SARAO Losberg Site which is located about 100km from the Northern Cape town of Carnarvon

Summary:

SARAO invites the submission of quotations for the occupational health and safety services.

Health and Safety specification required are as follows:

• 1x Compile a Health and Safety Specification
• 1x Compile a Baseline Risk Assessment as required by legislation
• 1x Issue the Principal Contractor with Mandatory Agreements (37.2) and legal appointment letter as well as delegation of responsibility on behalf of the Client (SARAO)
• 1x Evaluate negotiate and accept the Contractors H&S plan and their H&S file based on Items 1.a and 1.b
• 8x Monthly Compliance Audits - One visit per month conducting a Hazard Walk and a Compliance Audit representing the Client and issuing a report. Discussing this report with the Contractor and clearing out of findings
• 8x Travel and accommodation as required
• 8x The flights are from Cape Town International airport
• 1x Project Close-out, cancel all legal appointments, prepare and submit close out report
