Summary:

SARAO invites the submission of quotations for the following:
12x Clean water 25 liter plastic labelled containers, consisting of:

• Water from the Cape Town area (or any area where the chlorides are less than
  200mg/l, the total hardness is less than 400mg/l and a sufficiently low
  conductivity of approximately 100mS) with the correct chemicals and
  concentrations. With anti-freeze (Mono Ethylene Glycol) making up 23.5%
  (volumetric) of the solution added the other chemicals at a concentration of
  0.75% for the rust inhibitor and 0.008% for the biocide. Containers clearly
  labelled stating mixing ratio, expiring date, hazardous (N.B. please provide Certificate of conformance stating supplied goods meet the required specification)
• 2x Rust inhibitor 10 liter
• 2x Biocide 0.5 liter

N.B.

Please note that water from KAROO or areas with high concentration of
calcium & magnesium in water ("hard water areas") is absolutely not
suitable, as this will be used in sensitive cooling systems
