Appointment of a Safety Agent for the provision of Occupational Health and Safety Services at SARAO Losberg Site

Description:

SARAO invites the submission of quotations for the occupational health and safety services
Health and Safety specification required are as follows:

• 1x Compile a Health and Safety Specification
• 1x Compile a Baseline Risk Assessment as required by legislation
• 1x Issue the Principal Contractor with Mandatory Agreements (37.2) on behalf of the Client
• 1x Evaluate negotiate and accept the Contractors H&S plan and their H&S file based on Items 1.a and 1.b
• 16x Monthly Compliance Audits - One visit per month conducting a Hazard Walk and a Compliance Audit representing the Client and issuing a report. Discussing this report with the Contractor and clearing out of findings
• 16x Travel and accommodation as required
• 16x Health and Safety Admin Assistance - Hourly rate
• 1x Project Close-out, cancel all legal appointments, prepare and submit close
  out report

The person must be registered with the SACPCMP as a Pr.CHSA or a Pr.CHSM in terms of the Construction Regulations dated 2 June 2017. They must provide proof of registration.

NB: The SARAO SCM office is open for delivery daily from 8am-3pm
