SARAO invites the submission of quotations for the following:

3.1. High level categories
The overall objective is to keep the NRF buildings, property, personnel and visitor’s safe and protected at all times in Johannesburg, Observatory building.
Patrol and guarding services on the entire premises as outlined below:

• Access control at the gates.
• Proper and safe management of all SARAO keys under security control.
• Assist with handling of emergency situations.

3.2. Security Personnel for 18A Gill street Johannesburg Observatory Building
The minimum security service employees with at least one female guard on site at the Johannesburg Observatory:

• 1 x Grade C
• 2 x Grade D

COVID 19 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTRACTORS EMPLOYEE’S
All service provider employees contracted to work at any SARAO will be required to present COVID 19 vaccination certificate or negative PCR test which was obtained no longer than 48 hours prior to the service rendered at SARAO site or office.
