Summary:

Maintenance Requirements:

1. We require the regular servicing of the UPS. This shall include, but not be limited to:
   • Testing the UPS to ensure it is performing to specification in the event of a mains failure.
   • Testing batteries to check their performance is still within allowable limits for optimal UPS performance. Test results are to include endurance of UPS on battery with the existing load.
   • Visual inspection of UPS for any anomalies – eg. Insect infestation / dust clogging etc. and removing of dust build up on circuit boards and electronic components.
   • At servicing, monitor UPS output power to ensure voltage and current quality is within specification (including output and input distortion).
   • Any other tests typically performed for standard UPS maintenance.
   • Replacement of batteries as required.
   • Non-serviceable batteries are to be disposed of by contractor.
   • Detailed test reports are to be provided for each UPS indicating battery status, voltage, and performance under load.
