ADDENDUM NO. 1 – EXTENSION OF RFQ CLOSING DATE

RFQ Description: APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE RENTAL, DELIVERY AND DEMONSTRATION OF A DIGITAL HEALTH SCREENING STATION FOR SARAO EMPLOYEE WELLNESS DAYS AT THE HARTRAO (GAUTENG) AND CAPE TOWN (MOWBRAY) OFFICES

The South African Radio Astronomy Observatory (SARAO) hereby issues Addendum No. 1 in respect of the above-mentioned Request for Quotation (RFQ).

The RFQ was originally issued to invited bidders on 09 July 2026. In order to enhance competition and broaden market participation, the RFQ has also been published on the SARAO website on 13 July 2026.

Accordingly, the closing date for the submission of quotations is amended as follows:

Please note:

• All other terms, conditions, specifications, mandatory requirements, evaluation criteria and pricing requirements contained in the original RFQ remain unchanged.
• Bidders who have already submitted quotations are not required to resubmit their quotations unless they wish to revise their submission before the revised closing date.
• Any revised quotation must be submitted before the revised closing date and time.
