SARAO invites the submission of quotations for manufacture supply and delivery of 12 Pin PT/MPO connector with fibre cable. The 12 Pin MPO connector solution is to be integrated with the MeerKAT extension L-band next-generation digitisers for data transfer from the internal modules of the digitiser. Specification of the 12 pin MPO connector and subsequent fibre cable requirements are presented in this document.
