Location: SARAO Office, 2 Fir Street, Black River Park, North Gate Entrance, Observatory. Cape Town.

Closing Date: 24 March 2021

Description:

SARAO invites the submission of quotations for the supply and delivery of diesel for the SARAO Generator based at Black River Park on an as and when required basis for a period of twelve months.

Requirements are as follows:

The successful bidder must provide the following services:

1. Supply, deliver and offload 50pp diesel into the generators at Black River Park.
2. Prices must include Diesel cost, labour cost and Transport cost [ Submit a price breakdown including overtime charges].
3. Be able to supply a minimum of 300 litres of diesel at a go
   Must ensure the area is cleaned of any spills before they depart the site.
4. Be available for 24hrs with a maximum of 4 hours’ response time after notification.

The successful Bidder must provide:

1. Delivery Note indicating the amount of diesel delivered and the price per Litre.

Due to the fluctuating diesel retail prices, we require all bidders to supply pricing similar to regulated retail margins.

Note: Due to restrictions imposed by the National Lockdown, and our own internal safety measures, SARAO staff primarily work remotely, and therefore any enquiries relating to this Request for Quotations must be directed to the email addresses provided above.

NB: The SARAO SCM office is open for delivery daily from 8am-3pm.
